Keep Eating These Fucking Fast Food Burgers If You Like the Taste of: Nerves, Bone, Cartilage, and other Connective Tissues.

Fast food hamburgers are comprised of little meat (median, 12.1%). Approximately half of their weight is made up of water. Unexpected tissue types found in some hamburgers included bone, cartilage, and plant material; no brain tissue was present. Sarcocystis parasites were discovered in 2 hamburgers.

Note: there were only 8 burgers. That's parasites in 25% of the burgers they sampled.

Again: fast food hamburgers have a median meat content of 12.1%.* The max was 14.8%. One was as low as 2.1%. How do you make a burger with 2.1% meat?

*a burger should be about 50% water. thanks p.

to be fair, most vegetables are comprised of mostly water. but in any case, a raw beef hamburger should only be about 50% water.
