Captain Midnight and the decline of the big-ass satellite dish

Remember huge satellite dishes in people's front yards? When I was a kid I distinctly remember certain neighborhoods in Baltimore county where you could see dishes at least 10 feet in diameter happily planted in a front yard. Those days are long gone, but we have relics. Here's some real pirate shit from the 1980s:
