So well.BUMMER! But wouldn't it be even more spectacular if he was in a new Batman movie? Of course that's wishful thinking right here but.. He still can be alive even if he didn't appear yesterday. They also had to put the awarding of support actor to the end of the show because after THAT they couldn't just go on doing the show like nothing happened.

Wow he's got an oscar now. Isn't he one of the youngest actor to get an oscar? I mean 28.. IDK. It could have been wonderful if he didn't die or faked his death and then got the oscar yesterday, and I'm sure he didn't get it out of pity, that's not possible.

YEAH it is unlikeley for him to appear at the oscars, because he always hated award shows and red carpets.

But I must say, for a second, I was like OMG when that person popped up - and then it was Will Smith -.-

I want to say, don't lose hope. I hope he is happy right now. I still can't believe he just took that sheer number of pills, cause he was not dumb. Not at all.

( and thanks to dot :] )

I actually had the feeling that they don't want to draw any attention on The Dark Knight and Heath Ledger's death. There was nothing about the movie on the red carpet or whatsoever. It was such a BIG Blockbuster I haven't seen Chris Nolan or Christian Bale. Yeah I really think that was strange. And isn't it an extremely great loss for Hollywood to lose someone like Heath and why didn't they make a tribute about him or so?

Last year they had a tribute to Heath at the end of the memoriam at the Oscars. There has been a scholarship set up for his memory. His family were composed at the Oscars. Some families dont grieve and cry in public. I think it's great he won the Oscar but I dont think we'll see him again in the next Batman film. I was reading the other blog and this one and people were saying he's going to show up at the Oscars and now people are hoping that he will turn up in the new Batman film. There are one or two posters on the other blog that are adamant that he is alive. It's like they are in denial. IDK I mean I dont want to set myself up for disappointment again so maybe it's time to let go. Also I'm kind of wondering if the other Blogger was playing us along.. He never really answered any questions that people put to him. He was saying that someone emailed him at his youtube address and told him he was right about Heath but he never told us what was going on. Thats going to die down as will this a bit. I think some people feel like putting RIP Heath on this blog because maybe in some way they are starting to accept him being gone. I'm starting to think he did take those pills. Accidently of course not on purpose. This is my take on things so dont all start saying whatever and stuff. I was hoping he would turn up but when will people stop hoping?

Well,it didn't happen.

If he is alive, why would he come back? People would be mad,it would be a bad joke.

Literally

Also his E!True Hollywood story was on the morning of the Oscar's. It was so sad towards the end,we all know why.

Anonymous said...

I still feel that if Heath is alive (which I hope he is, I really do) that it's like people have been saying...we will probably never know, in all honesty. If he went to all that trouble to fake his death, he obviously did it for a much more important reason than making a surprise appearance at the Oscars. I don't have Heath pegged as the type of person that would do something this drastic for a simple publicity stunt. *If* he did it at all, I think it would be for several reasons. First of all, to get out of the spotlight, because we all know how uncomfortable he was being the center of attention.

Secondly, he would do it so that his daughter could grow up to have a more normal life than she ever could growing up with him around all the time, and the media frenzy that would never allow her any peace. He didn't want that life for himself, why in the world would he want it for her? He wouldn't, I don't believe.

And now the judge that's overseeing the insurance case for Matilda has put a privacy order into effect making it so that none of the details about what she receives or how will be made public, and that's the way it should be. Like the judge said, she's a 3 year old child, not a celebrity. And plus Michelle has already said she's not going to raise her up anywhere near Hollywood, which is a great choice in my eyes.

But you think about it like this, if Heath were still alive, no matter where Michelle moved her to, she'd never have peace. Now with him *gone* if Michelle keeps her out of the limelight for a while and she grows up, people won't even know who she is ten years from now and she'll have some semblance of a normal childhood. Something that he couldn't provide for her after making The Dark Knight.

And personally, for those that say he'd never do that to his daughter, who said he did? Who says he doesn't still see her and talk to her if he's still alive? All the more reason to keep Matilda out of the public eye so she can't blurt out to some random photog "My daddy said this" or "my daddy said that." As the parent of a little girl only 5 months younger than Matilda, I know how verbally open they can be about everything under the sun. At that age, they don't meet a stranger, to say the least.

The point is, if you want to believe he's still alive, then go ahead and believe. Don't let anybody make you feel guilty or silly or wrong for keeping that hope alive. I still feel that he's out there somewhere, simply because it was not a simple open and shut case like with most other accidental deaths or overdoses in the mainstream. (Seriously, how much have we even heard about Brad Renfro since his death, or Jonathan Brandis or anyone else for that matter, in those cases it was cut and dried and a done deal.)

I prefer to believe that he's living a good life and that he's happy wherever he's at, and that he knows how much we all miss him and we still think of him. :)

Hey you guys! I recently found this site and have been reading over the comments from the last couple of months.
It got me thinking and I started this forum about the subject called: Heath Ledger Lives.
There obviously isn't much there now since it just started but I thought it might be easier to have a single place where we could post and discuss this.

Wow. So I have just gone through a bunch of the posts on here and looked up a lot of the links you all have put up. So much to read!

I love Heath Ledger and it's still so strange that it has been over a year now. :( He was a GREAT actor.
R.I.P

& though it would be great if he were still alive, for him to come out of hiding after this long...I just don't see that turning out well.

Anonymous said...

Wherever he's at, I hope he's happy and at peace. If he's alive, I hope he's living the good life that he deserves, with the privacy he's always wanted. I hope he's sitting back enjoying his 'parting' gift to all of us and knowing that he was "THE MAN." If he really did leave us last January, I hope he's in Heaven looking down on little Matilda and smiling, and watching out for her.

(She looks so much like him, it hurts my heart to see her.)

The point of this message is simply this: he seemed like a really wonderful person, he was an amazing actor that was just beginning to show us what he was capable of, and it is up to all of us, his fans, to never forget him. To keep his memory alive and always remember the movies he left for us. After all, after "Parnassus," it'll be up to us to continue telling people about him, because younger people won't be exposed to him like we were lucky enough to be.

Keep the memories alive. Never forget him. Give the gift of his movies and his presence to others.

I envy those that were fortunate enough to know him personally. Simply because, just witnessing the energy and the aura that he possessed when he was alive, seems to me that just being in the same room with a person that shined SO, SO bright would make anybody's day a little better.

God Bless Heath, God Bless Matilda, and God Bless those that knew him and loved him on a deeper level than we did. :)

Okay, sorry about that. The forum was dying down and I just felt like getting all sappy for a moment lol. :)

Btw, I may be REALLY behind on this post, but...I was doing a search for some relaxing, laid back music earlier, and I came upon Nick Drake. That name rang a bell to me, so I googled it, and came up with Heath Ledger's supposed *obsession* with Nick and his music, and that Heath had directed his own video for Drake's song "Black Eyed Dog" that has never been released. But anyway!

The point is, the article I was reading said that it was the last song Drake recorded before dying from an overdose, and in the video that Heath directed for it, he turns the camera on himself a lot, and the ending of the video shows Heath dead in a bathtub. Sorry, but that just gives me the willies for all sorts of reasons.

You can read that article here:

http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1580085/20080122/drake_nick.jhtml

And for those of you that haven't heard the song, it's really...eerie to say the least.

I found a youtube video for it (NOT the one that Heath directed, but a different one) when I was searching just to hear the song, and it gave me goosebumps.

You can see the video here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDnDxvVjBic

And here are the lyrics to that song:

A black eyed dog he called at my door
The black eyed dog he called for more
A black eyed dog he knew my name
A black eyed dog he knew my name
A black eyed dog
A black eyed dog.

I'm growing old and I wanna go home
I'm growing old and I don't wanna know
I'm growing old and I wanna go home.

A black eyed dog he called at my door
A black eyed dog he called for more.

They say it's a reference to depression...anyway like I said, all of this has probably been brought up before, and if it has, just ignore this message. I just found it fascinating and a little sad at the same time...food for thought I guess....:(

hey guys...it's been a while since a post...it really is dying down. i guess we were all waiting for the oscars, and clearly nothing spectacular happened. but i agree with..Anonymous at 2/24/2009 2:44 PM that faking his death only to reveal himself later at the oscars after having said many times how much he hates press really doesn't make sense. so i'm still a believer. i suppose we really will never know, though.

The Joker said...

I am still here Dot, I just don't comment because I have nothing else to say. I, like you, am still a believer and will always be. And I must say I never expected him to show at the Oscard...it didn't make sense. In fact, I don't expect him to surface at all. Everything in his life for the past couple of years led to this, his escape, he wouldn't jeopardize it for a little publicity for TDK. I am just glad to know he is ok and everything came out the way he planned it. He will be with his family soon and "live happily everafter". :D

Anonymous said...

Very nice thoughts, Joker. I hope it's all true, I really do. He deserves to be happily ever after, that's for sure. What a guy he was...or..."is" :)

Guess nobody has anything to talk about anymore :( It's sad to come on here after all this time and see no new posts...has everybody given up the hope? That depresses me...c'mon guys, we can't forget! Somebody somewhere has to keep it going! Even if there's nothing exciting to talk about, surely we can find something to liven this board up again. Let's talk about one of his movies or something...there's so many of us, surely we can come up with a topic on here!! Put your thinking caps on!

I really hope H.L. isn't dead :[ I miss him. I know I sound retarded for not accepting an actors death but, I mean, I've seen all these clues and I just hope to God he's alive.....♥
R.I.P. Heath Ledger

Anonymous said...

I don't think you sound retarded at all. I don't see anything wrong with hoping that he's still alive. I hope he's still alive somewhere too. It still all seems so unreal to me. I know it's been well over a year but it just...I don't know, I haven't believed it from day one, just seeing the body bag, you know? It just sat in my mind like "this can't be real." And I still feel that way.
He was so amazing and so wonderful, it just doesn't seem right that something that tragic should happen to someone like that. Just seems awful wasteful to me. Awful wasteful indeed.

I, for one, would not be upset in the slightest if a while down the road he decided to come out of hiding and say 'hey I'm still here, I just needed a break.' I know lots of people would be ticked off and upset and mad, but I wouldn't. I'd be stunned, for like 5 seconds but then I'd probably cry lol. But I'm dorky like that anyway.

Like the other posters before me have said, I just hope that wherever he is, that he is happy and enjoying himself to the fullest. He deserves it. What a guy...

Anonymous said...

Hey Guys I've just seen The Prestige from Christopher Nolan and what can I say... wow. The movie totally blew me away and I'm fascinated.
But what has it got to do with Heath?

Well in this movie there are two guys who are doing the weirdest things to get attention: One of them pretends to die.. for the look on a face.

I defenitely see this parallel between Prestige and TDK - both of them include Bale and Caine and a 'maniac' who pretends to be dead. This is the exact same motif, to get standing ovations..

Well I don't want to bring anyone's hopes up but this is very erm strange? I know we already discussed all of this but.. Maybe Nolan likes this event happening in movies, that someone pretends his death and.. maybe he carries it too far? I, for one would love it.

Anyways, if Heath will come back or not, I'm extremely anxious for information of the Batman Sequel.

-Fanta

Anonymous said...

I'm not saying Heath's going through all this for standing ovations. I'd rather think it was Nolans idea, if it was true. Like, sort of a project.

I've been reading that other blog and it seems to have gone downhill a bit. Apparantely the other Blogger left a comment saying that he wasn't doing it anymore and some of the kids took him seriously and decided to make up another blog for Heath called hopeforheath or something. It was an April Fools joke! Next thing the Blogger is leaving all these nasty comments on their blog which is kind of mean. It was the three kids that the Joker was talking about. They were posting on his blog and coming up with interesting theories and now they don't go there anymore. He's making snide comments about them on his own blog and now he is moderating the comments on his blog now because of that. I used to go there but now I don't anymore because reading his comments and seeing how he totally bullied those kids have put me off him. I think he's a fake. He has a facebook up now if anyone wants to join. This blog has kind of slowed down too which is to be expected but his was still going strong. Now he's trying to keep people reading by saying there's another announcement coming or something. I mean this guy is in his 30s and he's trashing kids that are in their early teens for no reason.

Anonymous said...

This is all such BULLSHIT! Do you guys even understand the words you're typing!? It's fucking ridiculous, the guy is dead, there's a fucking myriad of evidence to prove that! It's very sad, he was a wonderful actor, and tbh maybe you guys think you're honouring him by saying he faked his death but all you're doing is bringing shame to his memory. This is such typical internet conspirator bullshit response that appears at any big world event and it's utterly pointless. You're all a bunch of complete fucking tools. Grow the fuck up.

Hello everyone!

I am Joker fan from the Hope For Heath blog. I have this quote that Heath has said, and I think you'll all like it:

"I only do this because I'm having fun. The day I stop having fun, I'll just walk away. I wasn't going to have fun doing a teen movie again... I don't want to do this for the rest of my life... I don't want to spend the rest of my youth doing this in this industry"----Heath Ledger

This quote reveals the reason why Heath faked his death. He didn't want to be in the movie industry for the rest of his youth and he, had to get out some how, without people bothering him about it. Just thought I'd share that with you guys.

Re 4/16/2009 4.17pm lol like Elvis bein' still alive. I've read the other blog to be honest there's nothing new there either. It's just a bunch of kids chatting and going on about you have an email. Now you have a new email etc. There's one chick there Amron. I mean seriously girl you should get out more! She gets really pissy if you say something she doesn't like. She gets on her high horse and goes on about her personal shit! I'm like ok get off the cross Jesus needs it. Some people are really obsessive over this Heath business. She goes on about HLSND on her blog and bad mouths him. They're just as bad as each other. If people don't agree with their opinions they just turn nasty. Her and that Joker Fan talk more about their emails and personal stuff then Heath. I think they should let it rest. He's dead.

That's a bit mean. I'd read their blog anyday over that other fake. He's a nasty piece of work. If you are reading this joker fan you should be proud. I know Heath would be proud of you and the others for your blog. I actually find it more interesting than the other Blogger. Please ignore the above comment from that troll. It's probably from that other blogger anyway. He was making really nasty comments on their blog and they ignored him. Way to go. You have my support xoxo

I am a regular reader of all the posts about Heath Ledger, and I am shocked at the way HeathledgerisNotDead has treat those kids who he so cruelly threw off his blog.

As a fan of Heath Ledger's work, I think everyone has a right to start a blog or site about Heath Ledger or any subject. This guy, if that's what he really is, had a loyal group at his blog until he decided to act in an immature way by pulling an April's Fool's joke. A real adult would never do that. This person is actually some kid playing on his parents' computer in their basement because that's all he can do.

You need to really stop bothering other people on their blogs. If someone is threatening others, that threat can be taken seriously and people have the right to protect themselves, so leave others be, grow up!!

All are welcome!

just to let you all know according to Chris Nolan " there will be no more joker as long as I am directing the movie" thats what Chris had to say but as for Heath Ledger himself as sad as it may seem he is dead i know its hard to accept and as for the guy saying that the quote reveals that Heath is still alive get over yourself. There are many actors that if they didnt want to do movies anymore they could easily walk away many actors have done it in the past

Lenny Cole: And I shed a tear. I shed a tear for all those bone-tops that read the papers and believe that shit. But did you see his body? Did you see him smacked-up and cracked-up with his tongue on his chin and his cock in his hand, swinging from the rafters like a real RocknRolla? No, you didn't, did you? And nobody else fucking did either, did they? Because he ain't dead.

Much as its a sad thing he passed away, your little fantasist delusions are not going to make his life any more accessible, or the sudden ending understandable. A sad loss, but grow up and get over it - it's like trying to claim Santa is still real; flying in the face of fact.
Feel free to respond if you wish, but be prepared to have your reality checked well and truly.

Oh yeah, a direct response to the Anon who claimed he knew all the convoluted twists anjd turns behind the alleged conspiracy; if you are so sure about it, and can explain why it is all a big fraud with Hollywood in on some secret, please, come clean and advise us of it; or at the very least take it to the tabloids, who will undoubtedly be able to find any scrap of evidence which supports your viewpoint... Thanks Anonymous at 11:40 am for giving us such a fine example of respect for other people's opinion. Your comment invariably shows how obtuse you are. Reality check? Let me give you a reality check. Just 500 years ago the brightest minds on the planet thought the earth was flat. Just 100 ago, medical practices where so far off the mark, that I am surprised the human population made it alive to the 20th century. Just look at how much has been accomplished even during your own life and look at how every advance changes and challenges every thing we believe in. Now, are you going to tell me that you are so close minded that you will not allow for any other possibility other than the one you believe in? Even if you are, must you force your opinion down other people's throat? And finally, if it so bothers you to read about such opinions, what are you doing here? I just took notice of the pic posted above (link) and wanted you guys to notice that the other guy (Joseph Gordon Levitt, the kid from third rock from the sun) is starring in the next Christopher Nolan movie. It's called Inception and it just started filming (wikipedia). I'm a huge fan of all Christopher Nolan's movies so far, so I'm definitely going to see it.

In my opinion, Nolan is one of the only directors in Hollywood who consistently puts out movies that really feel like they're worth your money at the box office AND to own and watch more than once. He's a great example of what a Hollywood director can be -- someone who knows how to make a movie that is visceral, thought-provoking, fantastic (in the sense that it escapes from reality at times) and often times, beautiful (see the prestige for a great example of the qualities i'm referring to).

It's likely just a strange coincidence, but I find it very interesting that such a strikingly similar face is going to be directed by the same director as his next project. The way events happen in this universe seems to follow some kind of a pattern at times, doesn't it?

Anyway, aside from that I just wanted to thank you all for carrying on this discussion and wanted to say that I'm glad to have you all posting here.

So Micheal Jackson's dead. They also talk about a possible overdose of medication haha. Why is everyone dying?

Anonymous said...

Fanta, would it be alright if someone laughed "ha ha" to you if it were someone close to you? You must be sick if the only way you find humor is in the demise of a person. Perhaps you didn't like the talent of Heath Ledger or Michael Jackson. But it comes down to a matter of common decency. Based on your writing, you couldn't begin to grasp it, pathetic!

Rest in peace, Mr. Jackson and condolences to your family for their great loss.

The Joker said...

Anonymous: I understant right now you are feeling a little sensitive...we all are. However, I urge you to take into account that Fanta did not intend to make fun of this very sad situation, she was merely pointing out that this is yet another "incident" where an overdose of meds is involved. Perhaps her choice of words was not the best, we are all guilty of that, cut her some slack. That being said, my condolences to you and all the friends, family and fans of this great performer...RIP King of Pop! You will always be remembered by your warm child like nature and compassion as well as your ability to touch our souls with your music. :D

Anonymous said...

The Joker: I do understand what you mean and agree. Thank you for your sentiments. The loss is global and yes, Michael will always be remembered as the King of Pop...

Well thank you @ The Joker, you truly understood what I wanted to point out :D

And sorry to that anonymous person I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or anything. RIP MJ

They've been talking about MJ lately, how some people think it might be fake too...I don't share their opinion.

Anonymous said...

Doesn't look like that HLIND site is coming back to me...

paige said...

I am watching MJ's funeral right now I have read some of your opinions about Heath Ledger and I have to say that I, too, agree- I did think that he was dead but wished deeply that he wasn't- now I am starting to believe he isn't dead...I think that because he was only 28 and had-has a daughter that he loves to death...haha lol; anyways I came up with that because of all the things going on with MJ; because he really did die at 50 and so it makes more sense....

28 or 50 which one makes more sense to you? which in my opinion i dont think that either should be dead because they are way too young- i should know i have experienced a lot of deaths in my life and all way too young... and who should have lived longer; you guys thought that Heath was alive because of the whole 7/27 thing a year ago...... well i think that he was only doing that for time off so he could live a normal life with his daughter...without paparazzi following him and his daughter around trying to figure out why he "faked" his death...understand?

doesn't that just make since?

The Joker said...

Yeah, I know what you mean. And 7/27 was just goofing off, he never did have all the facts and when he understood the seriousness of the situation, he stopped. I do wish nobody ever finds out the truth, just because it would defeat the purpose of it. Although I can't deny that it broke my heart to read some of the comments and know that a lot of people felt really hurt with this. But time is a great healer, everyone has experienced the death of a loved one and we learn to move on...it's part of life. :D

paige said...

yeah I get were you are coming at... I think it's that he just didn't want the paparazzi all over him, but not just him- his daughter too. I think he wanted to grow up normal... right? I mean yes every kid may wish to be famous one day but she is still young.... she would want to go places without everyone bothering them so then she wouldn't have anytime with her dad; then the whole "going out" part would be pointless....but rele I have a back and forth opinion because why would he go through all that trouble when if thats what he was doing (get paparazzi away to spend time with his daughter) then wouldn't it have been easier to just quit- let paparazzi hang around til they "think they get what they want" and then let it die down so then he wouldn't have to "sneak around" see so I rele am not too sure which everyone should believe but I know for one thing that I was crushed when I found out he died, but stuff happens tat hurts ppl all the time we have to live with it and like you said time heals all wounds

paige said...

so I understood...what this website was for...now is it like a democracy?...or chat room?...lol- it's kinda funny reading ya'll arguements.... lol 8D

The Joker said...

Well, you know, we encourage freedom of speech as long as it is not offensive or rude. This is mainly a vehicle for people to express their opinions and talk to other people that have similar concerns, as well as to explore different possibilities. And about what you said, about it "making sense" or if it was the easiest solution to his problem, I will say this: knowing as little as I know about him, I CAN SEE IT. I can put myself in his shoes and see the why, the pros and cons, what I want versus what the rest of the world wants. In the end, we are the makers of our own destinies and we must choose what is good for ourselves and our loved ones...and our loved ones is a much smaller circle than most people think, because when it comes right down to it, there is only so many people we couldn't imagine our live without. :D

Do you think Michael Jackson is Alive, any more that Heath? I hope they both are, maybe their both on Johnny Depp's island. I think he knows something about Heath, he's always so figgity acting. I love him.

The Joker said...

No, I don't think MJ is alive, he's been having a hard time for a while now, I hate to say I saw it coming...no human body is that strong. Heath on the other hand, he didn't have any physical struggles, his were emotional. Johnny's island? I've thought about it, several times. Specially when Johnny said there is a place in his island called "Heath's place"...and if there is one dude in the world who will understand what Heath was going thru, that's Johnny. Oh well, I guess we'll never find out, will we? :D

Have you ever felt that you have no control over your life anymore? That you can no longer do what you want but instead have to live up to everybody else's expectations? That the dreams you once thoght were so desirable have now turned into a nightmare? Worse still, that you are not only putting yourself in the line of fire, you are also affecting the life of the one person you love most of all in the entire universe?....How would you fix something like that? Is not like you can disappear...or can you? Is it possible to start over from scratch? And if you do get such a chance, would you be foolish enough to screw it up again? :D

It seems that you can no longer comment on HLISND. If a person takes the time to send information of interest to a blog, why then does someone like this indvidiual make a quip such as "for a much better article" and then disparage everyone on their own Blog at:

thewondersofalice.blogspot.com

Particularly under "Other Blogs" and "Continued from Yesterday". To understand this person, read under "A Normal Person" from Friday, July 10, 2009.
People are being pushed away by someone named "Alice in Wonderland"? At one time it was nice to comment. Someone came along in February and put an end to that. Someone came along again today and finished it for good. Peculiar that both names begin with the letter "A"

MR. 7/27 WAs JUsT A JOKeR.

heath didn't like press, so if he faked his own death to get away from them, he's NEVER coming back. if he's alive and still has a passion for acting, i'd be lookng around local theaters. Maybe even some drama classes.

http://knockedupcelebs.com/2008/09/09/michelle-williams-talks-about-her-crazy-life/
^^ michelle talks about her life and at one point states “I’ve started to shut down, but I also know I can’t let it dictate my life.”

Also, Heath's father spoke up after Micheal Jackson's death, saying Heath's death was because Heath wasn't responsible, or something on those lines. Why is he speaking about it now?

if you look at the times of other celebrity deaths, they are normally late afternoon, nighttime, or early morning. River Phoenix died at 1AM. Marilyn Monroe died at 4PM. Heath died at 2PM from pills. When working on his last movie, he was sick and after being told to go home because he need rest, he refused saying he'd just be awake. My question is: why would he take pills late morning/noon knowing that a masseuse would be there later in the day?

also, when jack nickleson and morgan freeman heard about heath's dead, freeman said, "It's a great loss to the industry, he was an enormous movie talent, it sounds like a tragic accident.."
only a great loss to the industry? he never mentions sympathy for heath's family for their loss...maybe becasue there isn't one?

somone already made a point of this, but i'd like to use the quote again.
"I only do this because I'm having fun. The day I stop having fun, I'll just walk away. I wasn't going to have fun doing a teen movie again... I don't want to do this for the rest of my life... I don't want to spend the rest of my youth doing this in this industry"-Heath Ledger
even if he did walk away from the industry, the press would follow him. Dying would be the only solution.

From: The Real Deal, New York estate news magazine, at: therealdeal.com

Excerpts:

July 22, 2009

The Soho building at 421 Broome Street in which actor Heath Ledger died last year was bought today in a foreclosure aution by the property's lender for $15 million, sources who attended the court proceedings said.

Attorney Matthew Dollinger, representing Donald Burns, the principal behind the lender Palm Beach Mortgage Management, placed the $15 million bid to purchase the building, a source said.

An investor who attended the proceedings said the courtroom at 60 Centre Street was packed with dozens of people. There were no bidders following the lender's bid, the investor, who asked not to be identified, said.

*********************

The description of the courtroom seemed exceptional. And the date of sale is even more peculiar...

More 22's...Fanta, you can read the article here:

http://therealdeal.com/newyork/articles/heath-ledger-s-apartment-sells-for-15m

I agree with one of the comments by Anonymous on 07/23/09, quote: "His 2 partners were basically crooks. One is in jail and the other should be for embezzling funds from the partnership. He bought his own note (credit bid) in order to disolve the partnership and ensure his partners get nothing. The whole auction was a joke."

Neiva is going to appeal anyway, so this is far from over...there is just something about Donald Burns that seems "off" (besides that fact that he is a crook)...I don't know what it is, the guy just gives me the creeps. :D

Anonymous said...

When I did a Google earth search on the apartment at 421 Broome Street I noticed the words; LOVE--YOU--THANK, painted in yellow on the roof of the building. Does anyone know what that's all about? According to how you look at it, it reads THANK YOU and LOVE YOU.

The Joker said...

I see what you mean but I think the words are in the buildings behind his. Although all the buildings seem to be connected or very close to each other...I wonder how easy it would be to go from one to the other...I guess I have to go roof hopping next time I pass by... :D

@ Valserra: avant garde indeed, I couldn't agree more. Such a shame that he let himself get discouraged...oh well! At least we still have this one to post every once in a while, keep in touch. Lost Highlander, my friend, are you around?

You know, when I think of the media and the world we live in, the movie "Wag the dog" comes to mind. It is SO EASY to control people! All you need to know is: what do they REALLY want? That's it, if you know the answer to that, you have it made!

And about Alice: "Time, says the Hatter, is someone that if you only 'knew how to keep on good terms with him, he'd do almost anything you liked with the clock', for instance 'you could keep it to half-past one as long as you liked'."

EVERYTHING is relative... :D

The Associated Press, Thursday, August 13, 2009 reported the United States along with Japan and Singapore have all offered assistance to these storm ravaged countries.

Anonymous said...

Not for one second do I think that Heath is dead! The more you think about it, the clearer that it becomes. Clues are there, just look for them. Especially in Parnassus. Why did he finish all his bits before going back to N.Y. instead of going on to Vancouver with the rest of the cast?
There is also clues in "Happy Ever After" if you listen. That just sounds like someone going away, and not dying. Now, it has come to light that Michelle Williams has broken up with Spike Jonze "Because he wasn't helping her get over Heath", I mean, Heath and Michelle were over long before that! Then Michelle was seeing Trevor de Carlos, Heaths best friend, straight away after Heaths death!
On the subject of Heath learning to fly, why did he ask if the plane could carry four people? All these questions have been asked before, but I do not think or believe that he is dead.
Just look at the clues, and especially in Parnassus.
