About Morgan Freeman's Injury

Freeman, 71, cheated death on Sunday when a car he was driving left the road and rolled over, leaving the Oscar-winning star of "The Dark Knight" with a broken arm, elbow and minor shoulder damage.

Freeman underwent surgery to mend his injuries at Regional Medical Center in Memphis on Tuesday.

"He was released today at noon local time and is now resting comfortably," Freeman's spokesman Ken Sunshine told AFP.

Freeman won an Academy Award for his role in 2004's Clint Eastwood boxing drama "Million Dollar Baby" and is famous for his authoritative voice that has been used to narrate documentaries and commercials as well as film roles.
