Maybe i was wrong i dont know lol! It looked like some convention for the joker. Maybe the 27th guy was trying to hint that among all those jokers was Heath? I've been reading this thread for some time, since I've seen the Dark Knight movie in the cinema, and then on the other day on internet at home. For the whole week I was somehow thinking about Heath's performance and his death. One day, I think it was thursday, a thought came to my head "What if he is alive?"

Why I thought that? Well, there are few theories for it.

1. He said once (the quote is on the imdb.com) that when he will get bored of acting, he will just leave. The best way to leave the industry would be faking his death so the media and paparazzi won't be hunting him (like they always do :/) especially after TDK.

But then, he didn't look bored of acting The Joker, he was more happy with it I think more than before (he even said that on one interview)

2. He wanted to spend more his private time with his daughter. He might come back, or not, but untill they will start another TDK movie, there is enough time to chill out, get more sleep, spend his time with the family and forget about acting for a while (work made him so full of energy and didn't let him fall asleep)

3. As most of you said, he will come to receive his Oscar. His death made this movie more popular. Maybe directors wanted to show people how his acting was great, to help him get rewarded for it? I haven't seen such a great movie (Action movies are not usually so good) comparing to other movies made in last 2 years!
Heh, even my mum liked it (and she's 44), she doesn't like action movies, but she's seen previous batman movies. She found this one more interesting.

quastion:
1. is there a text on the end of the movie (or credits) "In Memmory of Heath Ledger"? They usually put that when someone from the movie died before the movie was released.
If it's not there, that's very odd...

The whole topic about his death is very confusing. As someone said here, we should put all the ideas and facts and info into one piece.

there are many other ways of doing that. and also what about the next role he was working on just before his death? why would he take up another role if he knew he was going to get away from it all?

If he did fake his death, i think it would be to make an amazing comeback and surprise the world. I'm not sure when and where, maybe in the next batman movie. I've been following and reading this forum for a while now, so I think I'll start posting also from now on. Ok, needless to say I've here because I ttoo believe that Heath's death was faked and that there are way too many suspicious things going on to just dismiss our theory. I've been active on another blog that's been pointed out also, btw. But reading here, I have to say it's really nice to see I'm not the only person believing this.
Back when I first thought about this theory, my instinct was to just say, no, forget it, it can't be true...but just for curiosity's sake (and thank God for that!!) I started searching the web for something that might reconnect to my doubt, I saw I wasn't so strange after all for thinking about this, since there were other people and other forums, and...well, as they say, the rest is history. =)

The point here really is: will we ever really know the truth? It's been pointed out before, but it's true...if I have to be honest, my biggest fear would be that he did in fact fake it all but isn't going to come back =( although I doubt he wouldn't if this were true, right?

Ah, and about that site with the Joker skaterboarding pic? I've been examining it too. Here's the thing: as obvious as it may sound, either the Batman pic or the skaterboard pic were manipulated.
Of course, one would immediately tend to think the skaterboarding one was the one that was faked. BUT! Here's the deal: I have a little knowledge on how photoshop can be used for photo manips (nothing major, a good friend of mine just happens to use it for work and I've learned a few things from him) and if you look closely at the two, it's kinda hard to say which one was faked.
Why?
Well, because both have curious little disfigurations (sp?), meaning in the skaterboarding one the edges of the outfit seem a bit odd like a cut-out, but then again looking at the Batman pic, there's something odd about the Joker's position too,not to mention it's kinda hard to see his shadow on the ground, whilst in the skaterboarding one you can see his exact shadow on the ground.
What does this point to? *sigh* I don't really know for sure. I'm hoping of course what all of us are, though I can't be 100% sure of what the site manager/photographer say, nor can I be sure that the other photo (batman pic) was purpousely manipulated to keep people from finding out about all this...I'm confused.

Anyway, sorry for the long rant guys, I'll be around!

Why would they give her their money knowing that Heath was "alive"? Also, Heath was in the middle of filming the Dr. Parnassus or whatever it's called... it's costing the director so much money to hire three new actors, I highly doubt Heath would jeopordize that.

I've thought about it a lot.. the possibility of him faking his death. It makes my heart ache to think he's not here anymore.. when I watched some of the vids posted, like the guy in Chicago who caught Heath on camera in his Joker ensemble, it really tore me up. He was walking around and moving and breathing. And now ... now, he's gone.

Or when I see him in TDK, and I can see his eyes roll with movements and I can see him swallow and I can see his tongue move around, it really makes me sad. It's a numbing experience, to watch someone so alive on screen knowing that they're not here anymore. Makes me want to cry, my eyes are welling up as I type this.

he was such a great guy, why did he have to die? I'm so mad at him sometimes for passing... it was a stupid, preventable death! ugh! It was a complete accident and that's why i'm so angry!! he didn't WANT to die!

Also, I watched a couple of youtube vids ... the Last radio interview he had.. there's three parts. and the first part he said something like this:

"-laughs- I'm only 28! I think i have a couple of more years to go."

Then in the 2nd half, he was asked what he was doing after TDK. He mentioned the newest movie he couldnt finish, and then a giving tree movie. then he said this, which tore me UP.

"Then after that, I'll drop to the ground dead -laughs- and hibernate for a year."

Look it up on youtube. Heath Ledger's last radio interview. Pretty interesting, so sad. He had a great voice and he was just a goodnatured guy, you could tell. Really, really depressing to hear him laugh and joke around and talk about his future plans.. he knew he was going somewhere... blahhh.

I did. i tried envisioning what the oscars would go like if he were to step up all alive in front of audience to accept his award. People would be outraged, guys. Really, it would be a HUGE stunt, but his death has seemed to affect so many people... he was loved among other actors and actresses. They'd be extremely pissed. And I really don't think he'd jeopordize himself like that... and he also wouldn't do this to his family. Even if they did know, it just doesn't make sense. He goes into hiding for over a year without seeing his daughter (and no, I doubt he's sneaking around seeing her, she lives with Michelle and the two of them are constantly being photographed. i doubt Heath could put on a disguise and escape the radar so easily). Why would he do such a thing? For a summer blockbuster? It doesn't make sense, guys. Listen to yourselves. You think he faked his death. When is the last time you've heard of a huge hollywood celebrity faking their death to promote their films? It doesn't happen. Because it's wrong. And IF a celebrity were to fake their own death, Heath Ledger certainly wouldn't be one of them. He wasn't huge on publicity or any of that, so WHY you guys think he'd draw all this attention to himself for a movie, I have no idea. I'm not trying to be a troll, I promise. I feel with you guys. I miss him. He was a fantastic actor and seemed to be a phenomenal person. But it's certain that he's passed on. You can speculate, of course, there's nothing wrong with that. I'm not gonna say NO! IDIOTS! DUMMIES! I'm just stating what I think. And I think when I stop to think about, it sounds so ridiculous. Heath Ledger, God bless his gorgeous and funny and charming heart, is no longer on Earth. It seriously sucks. There are so many other actors/actresses out there that deserve to be in his place and he in theirs. I know that sounds kind of sadistic, but SERIOUSLY. PARIS HILTON?! Why is she alive and someone like Heath is dead?! Anyways, we just have to remember him for who he was by wstching his movies. You know, I thought I'd be sad watching movies like 'The Lords of Dogtown' or Casanova or The Brothers Grimm, but really, I felt happy watching him. I mean, sure, if I let my mind take over and realize the person on screen was gone, it was really sad, but he was a funny dude. He made me laugh a LOT.. especially in the Lords of Dogtown. Such a great actor. I will admit, though, that it's kind of eerie watching him in the Dark Knight, knowing that a year ago he was filming those scenes, alive and well, and smoking off-set and skateboarding and such, and that he had no idea that he wouldn't be alive a year later to see the film's amazing success. Or that last December was his last Christmas. Or that he won't be around to see his BEAUTIFUL (and breathtakingly similiar... seriously, have you guys seen her? she's like a CLONE of him) daughter's 3rd birthday. Gah, it hurts! First of all I wonder, If he says he's not sure that something will happen, how can he be sure about the actual time of it then? Seems to me like he did exactly know about it. But then I looked at comic-con.org where you can find the whole program of the days (which can be changed every time they say). The 7/27 was the last day of the comic con and ended at 5 pm! Then watch the post 7/27 guy made. He posted at 4:35pm: in a few hours it would happen.. How can that be when it ended at that time? I looked through the program and they only said something about the dark knight at 7/25. I think he made up everything. This is the proof. Damn..

That is EXACTLY how I feel as well, Diana.
No matter how hard I try to tell myself he "passed away" I swear I cannot look at him and believe it. I just can't. And it's just so weird that so many people are getting this same feeling, it must mean something. I don't know about you guys but I strongly believe in these sort of "supernatural" feelings...instincts, if you may...and if my instinct tells me something, believe me, 99% of the time it's right. Same goes for all of you as well, I guess right? So why is it so many people get this intinct, this feeling, this sense of "no,wait,something's wrong"? It shouldn't be so hard to accept! And yet here we are, all discussing about how strange it feels to see him on screen or on pics, because try as we may, it does NOT feel like he's...gone. And once again, I don't know about you, but I DEFINITELY trust my instincts. So...yeah.

It's reassuring to know so many other people feel that way, at first I honestly thought I was going crazy!! Oh and personally I haven't told anybody about my idea, except for a friend who was a huge fan of his was before me and who was really sad when this whole jam happened. But she doesn't really believe it (what can I say?)

As for 7/27 guy, I don't know wether or not to believe him, but I too had the striking thought for a second of "What if that's Heath?" :P Unlikely, but yeah. I get what you mean.

Now people will look for his van -- he definitely wouldn't be hiding out in it at this point if attention was given to this stolen vehicle. I've been keeping an eye out there, The oscar nominations are january 22nd, the oscars are february 22nd.
That means the nominations are 1 year after Heath supposedly died. Didnt heath at one point say that he would "hibernate for a year"???

Sooo... I think we should discuss the strange coincidence that in the film that Heath was filming, he just so happened to have filmed everything possible for them to change the plot completely, but in a way that still relates to the movie.

For those of you who don't know, I won't explain the whole premise, but Heath Ledgers part, Tony, at one point enters this mirror that takes you to an alternate universe. He goes in to save some girl.
Anyways. The plot changed after he died so that when he enters the mirror, he is split into three different people (the three actors that take his place) since it IS an alternate universe.

I am looking forward to seeing more evidence. I told my husband about all the evidence we talked about here and he said to watch out for bald guys with a goatee and sunglasses.. LOL. We find this very suspicious, but if he is gone I still feel there's more than meets the eye here. I think we mostly all feel uneasy about his death and the circumstances behind it.

Somewhere I read an article about the ladder at his apartment which I find very suspicious. People had taken in a ladder the night his body was found and hey explained it by saying that they needed the ladder to shut the curtains in his bedroom window so the papparazzi wouldn't take photos of his body. I find this odd since somewhere I read that he kept the curtains closed because he didn't want people peeking into his windows --makes since to me. Why all of a sudden would the curtains be drawn and people can see in?? I don't know if anybody caught this info or not.
