On Productivity
The computer isn't even close to a good productivity tool for me. I get more done with spiral bound notebooks and the one red pen/one black pen combo than I do with a computer in length of time that is logarithmically shorter.

Yeah I think I agree - sorta. For the time being I'm running (a sort of weakass version of) GTD. I'm currently doing it on paper, it's been working pretty well.
I'm thinking though, if I do take this stuff seriously, then there may come a time when I'm going to want to search some of the data for patterns or something. It'd be a pain to put all of that data into it then, so I'd probably never be able to do it.
So if I were to settle on a working system, i think i'd probably spend a little time figuring out how to digitize it.
